Whether your passion runs to baseball, football, basketball, hockey or all of the above, why chant, cheer, and drink beer alone? We've got your back . . . and some of us have your accent.

… Others pursue glamor, prestigious money hungry, silver-bullet laden sports such as golf - where the cure to a bad swing is a new club rather than the torture of demanding practice. United States Tennis participation is an an all time low - down over 50% since the halcyon days of the archetype American bad boys, McEnroe and Connors. But like any independent thinker, "I'd rather rule in hell, than to serve heaven" - I'd rather spend the day throwing Petanque on a modest patch of packed dirt and ro …

We all have experienced the one or two players at a pick up game who ruin a game for everyone by hogging the ball, playing with a bad attitude, tripping others etc. We don't need any foul play or words at this meet up! Thanks! We hope to see you at the park! Also, anyone have any goals? We'll just use some shoes for goals for now...
This group is designed to keep a regular weekly pickup game going in Portland. Look here for information about places, dates and times to play, and feel free to add your own recommendations. As the weather turns nicer, we will look to add a weeknight game as well. But that’s not all! We’d also like to create a group of fans of international soccer (La Liga from Spain, the Premier League from England, etc.) who would like to meet at a restaurant or bar to watch the games and - why not? - mak …
